Each WHOIS query for a domain counts as one lookup. Bulk lookups count as the number of domains queried. For example, looking up 50 domains at once uses 50 lookups from your monthly allowance.
No. WHOIS Wolf had five paid tiers until September 2026 and no longer does. There is one plan, it is free, and it includes everything the old Pro tier had. Nobody was ever billed for the tiers that were withdrawn.
No. There is nothing to pay for, so we never ask for card details and there is no checkout on this site. Sign in with Google to keep your history, favorites and monitors.
Domain monitoring lets you track changes to any domain's WHOIS data. You'll receive email alerts when ownership, nameservers, or expiration dates change.
API access includes RESTful API endpoints, up to 3 keys, documentation, and the same 75,000 lookups a month as the website. You can integrate WHOIS lookups directly into your applications.
Monthly lookup limits reset on the 1st of each month and do not roll over. The allowance is generous enough that most people never reach it.
